PRE-CONSTRUCTION MEETING SCHEDULED

For Thursday. Our sales rep emailed us saying our PM wants to break ground on Tuesday and if we could come in real soon.

Super excited.

Now on to my questions. We have to pick our electrical additions. We already have recessed lighting in the kitchen, 200 amp service, and outlets in the garage ceiling for the garage door openers. We will add a dedicated line above the stove for the microwave, outlet above the fireplace and on bedroom wall in owners suite for mounted tvs, and ceiling rough ins for all bedrooms. Any other ideas?

Thanks

  2. Ok...so here's a couple of thoughts. If you have an island (especially the larger gourmet island) you might want an electric outlet on both ends. Additional outlets in the garage are good...especially if you might want to have an extra frig/freezer out there. In your master bathroom you might want to change the double outlet to a quad outlet...razor, hair dryer, curling iron, electric toothbrush, night light, etc. You might want to add additional outlets outside...holiday decorations and such...we are putting all our electronics for the family room audio/video in our hall closet, so we are adding and electrical outlet in the closet. Along the edge of the family room/kitchen you might want to add an electrical outlet in the floor. Just some thoughts that we are doing and/or have been suggested by others.
