| MORNING ROOM...MORNING ROOM! Can you tell I'm excited about the morning room? |
Also I just started shopping around for satellite and phone. We don't like Comcast and the picture can go out with them too, so I rather pay way less for satellite. Both Dish and Direct TV seem around the same prices point, but the Direct TV reps seem way more excited than Dish. Feel free to way in if you have experiences with either one.

I had DirecTV for 10 years...other then the occasional rain storm causing the signal to go out or having to go out in the middle of a snow storm and brush the dish off I loved it. The only reason I switched was because I was finally able to get Verizon FIOS for both internet and TV. I miss some of the little features DirecTV had, but I have been very very happy with picture quality and price is about equal.
ReplyDeleteLook for deals for free Dish or Direct through the big box electronic stores if you are buying a TV. When we were buying our new TV's those stores were giving free subscriptions to satellite.
ReplyDeleteAwesome 12 framers!!!!!! That is a lot of people... I expected maybe 5 people working on the house but holy cow 12 people!!!!!!! The house sure is going up pretty fast. It is exciting.... If you can try to take pixs of the crane doing the work that would be so much fun.

Comcast Sux!!! Direct TV is the best if you cant get Fios!!! Were getting FIOS...

ReplyDeleteLooks fantastic! I drove by ours today and they've got the roof on too (It wasn't there on Sunday). Both of our houses look like a giant baked potatoes with that aluminum foil-like wrap they use.

ReplyDeleteI've never had Comcast, but my fiance has for the last 2-3 years and he's been pretty unhappy with their customer service and internet speed. He did have Direct TV awhile back before moving into a place that prohibited sat. dishes and he loved it and I loved using it when I was at his place. We are sure that we will be getting Direct TV in the new house...can't wait for that too. It can get pricey, but I've never heard a bad thing about their great customer service.
