I hope this isn't a fluke, but I'm able to post at work. So pics maybe back on the blog tomorrow.
The countdown is in no particular ranking order, except when it gets to numbers one and two. So here it is...

Mail. I know it might sound silly, but it's going to be great to have an actual mailbox that is just ours. I grew up with a mailbox attached to the house, on the front porch. However, with being in college and renting the mailbox situation has been less than desirable, especially with them being outdoors and lumped together in an inconvenient location that is generally a distance away from our residence. Even though the mailbox isn't attached to our house, it's still curbside. I love the fact that we should be able to pull up to the mailbox, roll down the window to get the mail, and then turn into the driveway. Also, we're going to enjoy having items delivered to the house instead of our jobs because we weren't sure if the package would be there once we got home.
I feel the same way living in apartments for many years and having to walk quite a ways to get the mail. It would be pretty sweet once we get our own mailboxes this is something that I am actually excited about! =)

ReplyDeleteThat is such a good point! It will be so much better. I hate having to go out of my way to my apt. office to get packages when the office is not open when I am not at work. Good way to kick off the countdown!

ReplyDeleteGreat start to the countdown. Having lived in a house for the last 26 I have forgotten what a pain it is to have your mail delivered somewhere else besides your house.
